Volunteer and Administrative Manager
Schedule: 30 hours per week
Salary: $30 per hour
Location: On site at the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank office in North Bend.
Hours: Some flexibility, with Monday, Tuesday, and Friday mornings required.

Position Summary:
The Volunteer and Administrative Manager is a key member of our team, responsible for keeping our volunteer program and administrative functions running smoothly. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented person who enjoys variety, strives to foster welcoming environments, and takes pride in supporting both people and systems. This position reports directly to the Executive Director.

Key Responsibilities:

Volunteer Coordination:
-
Manage volunteer applications, orientation, onboarding, and background checks

Schedule and confirm volunteer coverage for daily operations and other events, as needed

Track and verify volunteer hours and maintain accurate records

Manage the recruitment of new volunteers and volunteer appreciation efforts.

Deploy and manage new volunteer system, Volgistics

Administrative Support:
-
Acting as the first point of contact at SVFB, greet callers and walk-ins with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Use respectful communication with a wide diversity of customers in accordance with food bank policy and values.

Assist with day-to-day financial tasks, including processing incoming bills and invoices, managing receipts, support proper documentation of all expenses, and assisting with bill payment in collaboration with accountant.

Assist with clerical work supporting the Executive Director such as filing, scanning, creating signage, and other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
-
Experience in volunteer coordination, administrative support, or nonprofit operations (preferred)

Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
-
Highly organized and proactive with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Comfortable using common office technology and software
-
Excellent client service skills.

Able to maintain confidentiality of customers, co-workers, and agency in accordance with food bank policy.

Commitment to the mission and values of SVFB, with a passion for addressing food insecurity

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods

Occasionally lift or move items up to 25 pounds
