Volunteer with Us!

Volunteers are the heart of everything we do. Each week, more than 100 community members show up to support the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank, bringing energy, compassion, and a shared commitment to caring for our community. Whether you’re hoping to get involved on a regular basis or simply lend a hand when you can, there’s a meaningful place for you here.

Ways to Volunteer

Preparing for Food Distribution

Before we open our doors, there’s a lot that happens behind the scenes. Volunteers in this role help unload deliveries, sort and organize food, and get the space ready to welcome our community. This role does include lifting and moving boxes. Shifts: Monday: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 12:45 PM

Food Distribution Support

During service hours, volunteers help create a welcoming, respectful experience for everyone who visits. Depending on the day, you might assist with restocking shelves, greet community members, unload and sort incoming donations, or pack groceries. All these roles are important to help keep things running smoothly throughout the day. Shifts: Tuesday: 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 12:15 PM 11:45 AM – 2:45 PM 2:15 PM – 5:00 PM Thursday: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Grocery Rescue Driver

Help us reduce food waste and keep our shelves stocked by picking up donations from local grocery stores. You may drive a food bank vehicle or, in some cases, use your own. Training is provided, and all drivers must be approved before getting started. Time commitment: Morning shifts
