Seniors, are you living on a fixed income?  Skipping meals to save money? Raising grandchildren? Paying for medicine or pet food before you buy groceries?

 

Meeting basic needs can mean making hard choices. If your budget does not cover everything, the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank can help.  If you live in North Bend, Snoqualmie, Fall City or Preston, you can register to receive food with a photo ID. 

 

You select the foods that you like.  Fresh ingredients for home-cooked meals and
no-cook options are available.

Eastside Baby Corner – Partnership Program

Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank has formed a partnership with Eastside Baby Corner to help families provide basic needs for keeping their kids safe and happy. Along with baby food and diapers, other needs that EBC can help with are cribs, clothing, booster seats and car seats.  Visit the main food bank office to learn more. 

 

Snoqualmie Valley Pet Food Bank

Many of our clients have four legged companions that need food too. 

Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank is the host site for the Snoqualmie Valley Pet Food Bank.
The first Wednesday of each month the pet food bank provides cat and dog food during our distribution hours from 9:30 a.m.- 6:30 p.m.  To register for the program visit the pet food bank on the first Wednesday of any month.

Sallal Grange Dairy Drive

Every Sunday from 4:00pm - 6:00pm, QFC North Bend, 460 E. North Bend Way, North Bend, WA

 

Cheese is the reason Sallal Grange is at QFC North Bend in the bakery department every Sunday afternoon from 4:00pm until 6:00pm – asking shoppers to donate to the food bank. Stop by and drop off your donation of cheese (or any dairy product other than milk or eggs) and help a neighbor in need.

Fred Meyer Community Rewards Program

Meals for the Break – Winter | Spring | Summer

Every Wednesday during Winter, Spring and Summer Breaks:  9:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Nutrition Matters – and SVFB is here to help see to it.  School breaks present challenges to families to provide healthy meals for their growing children.  SVFB meets this nutrition gap by providing breakfast, lunch and snack items each Wednesday in addition to regular groceries. 

MidWinter Break:  Wednesday, February 20, 2019

Spring Break:  Wednesday, April 10th 2019 

Summer Break:  Every Wednesday from June 26th thru August 28th 2019
Winter Break: Monday, December 23rd 2019

 

In 2018, 18,700 meals and snacks were provided to our Snoqualmie Valley students during the spring, winter, mid-winter, and 10 weeks of summer.

 

Families with children enrolled in the Snoqualmie Valley School District Free or Reduced Meal Program may sign up for this program at Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank main office.

 

If you would like to help, view our list of kid friendly foods that can be donated specifically to the Meals for the Break program.  Donations can be dropped off at the food bank.

Back to School Supplies & Shoes

Sign-up: June 3rd - August 7th 2019 in food bank main office

It's important to start the new school year off with the right supplies. If your children are enrolled in the Snoqualmie Valley School District and need school supplies and new shoes, you may sign up for this program at Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank.  See dates above.

 

In August 2018, 240 pairs of shoes and 300 backpacks were distributed to Snoqualmie Valley school children.

 

Thank you to our church sponsors Snoqualmie Valley Alliance, Mt Si Lutheran Church, Our Lady of Sorrows, Cascade Covenant, St. Clare's, Snoqualmie Methodist and to the many businesses and individuals that support this program.

 

If you would like to help, supplies and shoes can be dropped off at the food bank.

Garden Harvest

Every Monday- Friday

Share Your Harvest with your neighbors at the food bank.  This is a great activity for the entire family and provides lifelong lessons for children about nurturing the earth and our neighbors.  No donation
is too small!

 

Fresh donations may be dropped off at the food bank on Monday & Tuesday 9:30 am - 1:30 pm
& Wednesday 9 am - 6:30 pm, Thursday & Friday 9:30 am -12:30 pm

Holiday Giving Tree Program

Sign-up: November 11th -December 11th, 2019 in the food bank main office
Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank, 122 E. 3rd Street, North Bend, WA

SVFB is partnering with the Kiwanis for the Annual Holiday Giving Tree Program. Families with children up to 18 years old may sign up in the food bank main office Monday and Tuesdays between 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. or 3:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.   

 

If you are interested in supporting this program look for the Giving Trees in our local businesses decorated with gift tags with suggested presents for children.  You can bring unwrapped gifts to the participating giving tree locations or Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank during our donation drop off times.
