Just like last year, the weather stirred the pot. Due to hard rain, our original plan for a show on Saturday, October 10th had to be canceled and rescheculed for the next Saturday, October 17th. But in the end, this did not seem to have much of an impact. The attendance for both nights was over 800! Thanks to everyone involved in producing the show and the brave audience who made NOADT a roaring success!

CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide events sponsored by Church World Service and organized by religious groups, businesses, schools and others to raise funds to end hunger in the U.S. and around the world.
2015 CROP Hunger Walk raised $7,500 to fight hunger localy and worldwide. 25% of the proceeds will stay in the Snoqualmie valley and help buy food for our neighbors.

The 2014-2015 food & toy drive was a success. Thank you for being a part of our community in action. All the food donations came to the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank and was distributed to our neighbors in need.
Breath of Aire Concert

This group of talented singers from around the state came to our community again in 2015 in support of our local food banks. Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank will recieve proceeds of the event. The concert was hosted by Cascade Covenant Church.

Safeway Food Drive
​Monday, November 3rd thru Thursday, December 25th (Christmas Day), 2014
Safeway and Northwest Harvest once again held the Home Team Harvest food drive to benefit Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank. Safeway offered the familiar $10 pre-bagged groceries which contained the following contents:
Starkist/Bumble Bee Chunk Light Tuna 5 oz.
Pasta 12 oz.
Hunts Pasta Sauce 24 oz.
Del Monte Family-Size Vegetable 28 oz.
Skippy Peanut Butter 16.3 oz.
Kraft Blue Box Mac-n-Cheese 7.25 oz.
Safeway brand Chicken Noodle (or) Tomato Soup 10.75 ounces.
Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank picked up 1,111 donated $10 bags of groceries from
North Bend Safeway and 191 donated $10 bags of groceries from Issaquah Highlands Safeway.
Mt Si High School Food Ball Food Drive
​Saturday, December 13th, 2014, North Bend Safeway, North Bend, WA
Mt Si High School planned the fill-the-truck event at Safeway on December 13th and led the district schools in organizing the annual Food Ball Food Drive to benefit Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank and other food banks. Mt Si High School students delivered nearly 4,000 pounds of food to SVFB!

QFC Food Drive
​Sunday, October 26th, 2014, thru Thursday, January 1st (New Year's Day), 2015
Bringing Hope to the Table provides QFC customers an opportunity to support the hunger relief efforts of our network during the holidays. Each QFC store sold sample food bags to customers for $10. The sample food bag contained the following Kroger brand items:
Corn Flakes
Kidney Beans (2)
Chicken Noodle Soup
Quick Rolled Oats
Brown Rice
Peanut Butter
Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank will be receiving the bulk donations from Food Lifeline early 2015.
Fill-The-Truck Food & Clothing Drive
​Friday thru Sunday, Novemer 28th, 29th & 30th, 2014
First Due Movers and Eastside Firefighters Benevolent Fund had a very successful 4th Annual Fill-The-Truck Food and Clothing Drive. Donated by First Due Movers, a 24-foot moving truck was located at the Issaquah Fred Meyer Shopping Center over the weekend and firefighters and volunteers collected thousands of pounds of food and clothes.
All donations went to support the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank (food and clothing), and Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank (food only). Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank received nearly 5,600 pounds of food for our neighbors.
Winter Pineapple Classic 5K
​Saturday, November 8th, 2014
Celebrating its 9th year, the Winter Pineapple Classic was a fun and challenging 5K run with obstacles along the course. Each participant ran with a pineapple. All intact pineapples were donated to Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank -- over 700 in total -- to share with our neighbors in need!
Thanks to the participants and the many others who helped make this event a success.
12th Man Can Club

The 12th Man Can Club collected 740 pounds of canned goods and $120.00 in just a couple of hours. Way to go Snoqualmie Valley! Thanks for supporting our Community In Action!

The wild winds and unrelenting rain did not dampen the fearless cast from performing for 287 brave audience members Friday night. The show was cancelled on Saturday night due to high winds and the fact that safety was our number one priority for the cast and audience. Thank you to everyone who supported the NOADT event this year!

It was a beautiful day for the SNOQUALMIE VALLEY ROTARY 21st ANNUAL PRESIDENT'S CUP held at the prestigious Jack Nicholas designed Snoqualmie Ridge TPC Golf Course.
Due to your participation in this event, the food bank recieved $7,500.00 that will help fight hunger right here in the Snoqualmie Valley.

CROP Hunger Walk
Sunday, May 18th, 2014
The event was a success with 93 walkers from the community as well as from several churches. Many more shared a community lunch. And thanks to 20 local businesses who supported the event with a special thank you to Meadowbrook Farms for their space and assistance with the walk!
The total amount of money raised for the Crop Walk is $6,681.00. Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank receives 25%.
Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive
